Compare and contrast
In 1995 the food pyramid was giving very specific serving sizes and percentages of the amount of a specific food group one should be eating. The pyramid (1995) separated the food groups at mostly different percentages and serving sizes. Over the years they created a new food pyramid that came out in 2005 which was meant to be more broad and simple. The main difference between the 1995 and 2005 food pyramid was the percentage of the food groups and it encouraged exercise . In 2005 the food pyramid was made more equal and less precise than the 1995. Finally, in 2011 they came out with yet another food pyramid which has been the most broad and the most simplest yet. It differs from the rest of the pyramids by making the dairy percentage the least and making the rest of the food groups just about the same serving size.
